Prof. Daniel Friedmann
Chairman, Israeli Advisory Board
A graduate of the Hebrew University, Professor Daniel Friedmann served as the dean of Tel Aviv University Law School and as the head and founder of the law school at the College for Management and Administration. He was among the founders of the political party Shinui in the 1970’s. From 2007-2009, he served as the Minister of Justice for the State of Israel. Friedmann received the Israel Prize for Legal Research in 1991 in recognition of his substantial contributions to Israeli law. He has written many books on law, including the seminal work “The Purse and the Sword.” He continues to publish analysis and opinion pieces in the media on contemporary legal issues.
Prof. Ron Shapira
Professor Ron Shapira is the President of the Peres Academic Center and the founder of its law faculty. He is an attorney specializing in the field of criminal law, rules of procedure, and the rules of evidence. He previously served as a senior lecturer at Tel Aviv University and as the dean of the Bar Ilan University law faculty. He has published dozens of articles in his fields of expertise and has worked for many years as a private lawyer.
Prof. Talia Einhorn
Professor Talia Einhorn is a graduate of the Hebrew University, Tel Aviv University, and the University of Hamburg. She is an expert in international law and in commercial law and serves as the Professor of Law at Ariel University’s Department of Economics and Business Administration. She is the author of several books and dozens of academic articles and is a frequent contributor to national media platforms. She is a member of the Israeli governmental advisory committee on senior appointments. Professor Einhorn is a member of various prestigious societies in the field of international and comparative law.
Adv. Yael Dolev
An expert in labor law, advocate Yael Dolev obtained her law degree at the University of Tel Aviv. She is a partner in GKH Law Offices, one of Israel’s leading law firms, where she heads their labor law division. Dolev has broad experience in various fields of law and has published many articles in professional publications.
Prof. Robert Aumann
Professor Aumann is a mathematician specializing in game theory. He obtained his degree at MIT, worked as a researcher in Princeton University, and as a Professor of Mathematics at the Hebrew University. His trailblazing work in the field of game theory earned him a Nobel Prize Economics in 2005, and the Israel Prize for Economic Research in 1994.
Dr. Joshua Segev
Dr. Joshua Segev is a graduate of Tel Aviv University and of the University of Virginia. He is an expert in constitutional law and a senior lecturer in the law school of Netanya Academic College. He is a prolific writer, publishing numerous academic articles in the field of constitutional law as well as popular opinion pieces in the Israeli press.
Prof. Gideon Sapir
An expert in constitutional law, Professor Gideon Sapir is a graduate of Bar Ilan University and of Northwestern University. He is a co-founder of the Kohelet Policy Forum and serves as a professor of law at Bar Ilan University. He is the author of several books, including “The Constitutional Revolution.” He has also published many academic articles and is the editor-in-chief of a prominent law journal.
